INDEPENDENCE DAY & MALAYSIAN DAY

With the coming of August each year, various parties have worked hard to make the 59rd National Day celebration a success. The 2016 National Day celebration was held at Dataran Merdeka, Kuala Lumpur. The father has promised to bring our family to Dataran Merdeka to witness the march.

As soon as I did the Dawn prayer, I was preparing to prepare myself to go there. Due to the distance of our home to Dataran Merdeka, we had to leave early in the morning to avoid traffic jams and to have a strategic place to watch.

Once we got there, our car had to be parked quite a distance as many roads were closed. My father brought along a video recorder to celebrate the historic moments of our nation for 59 years. My father and I took the front seat. Seen on the main stage of honor, the Yang di-Pertuan Agong, Prime Minister and Malaysian ministers.

At 7.30am, the procession began with a band from Victoria National High School. Followed by uniformed forces such as the Royal Malaysian Police, Navy and Air Force, and the Malaysian Fire and Rescue Team. Make everything look mighty with their own uniforms.

The most special of this year was the presence of a veteran fighter group. Most of them have exceeded their 70's, but are still able to walk through the procession for the sake of the country. In addition, the independence parade this time is also paid by government employees such as the Registration Department and the private sector as well as the corporate sector. There is also a procession of a decorated pet car by Petronas showing the hibiscus as the national flower of the country. They use a variety of living flowers as an ornament.

A bright morning amid the blessing of the 59rd Independence Day celebration this year. The procession ends at 10.30 am and everyone is leaving for home. Our family also left the plain with a satisfied heart. I am very happy to be able to see the 53rd Independence Day live on Dataran Merdeka, Kuala Lumpur.
